Nascar names Olliv as partner of Chicago Street Race

CoinFlip brand will have official presenting, marketing and promotional rights for new race.

Nascar has signed a partnership with Chicago-based fintech company Olliv by CoinFlip for the US stock car racing series' Chicago Street Race

Contract:

  • Olliv by CoinFlip will have official presenting, marketing and promotional rights for the weekend
  • Company to also receive the same rights for the Xfinity Series race on the same weekend

Context: Olliv is a new product from CoinFlip, designed as a fintech platform to break down the exclusivity barrier of cryptocurrency by offering a space that welcomes the next generation of customers to the digital economy. This latest sponsorship deal is not at the founding partner level like previous partnerships announced with McDonald's and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, but it continues the theme of Chicago-based companies partnering with the event.

Comment: Ben Weiss, chief executive and co-founder of CoinFlip, said: “We believe that everyone should have access to crypto. By making blockchain technology frictionless for beginners, Olliv is helping us spread that message. Engaging with the community is a crucial part of our strategy to bring the digital revolution to the masses, and we’re excited to be part of the Nascar Chicago Street Race Weekend in our hometown.”

Coming next: The Grant Park 220 will take place for the first time on 1st and 2nd July 2023.
