Report: Nascar CFO Susan Schandel to retire

Long-serving executive will be replaced by Greg Motto.

Long-serving Nascar executive Susan Schandel will be retiring at the end of the season, according to Sports Business Journal (SBJ).

One of the stock car racing series' longest serving female executives, she will be replaced by Greg Motto, who is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer at the International Speedway Corporation (ISC), in September 2023.

Schandel began her career as controller for the ISC in 1992, before being promoted to the role of chief financial officer shortly afterwards to lead the company's initial public offering (IPO).

She joined Nascar in 2008, playing a key role in agreements like the charter system and the acquisition of the ISC.
