MotoGP has unveiled a revamped website, as well as a new app for iOS and Android.
Confirmed:
- The new website is available in six languages – English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish
- Race Centre enables fans to watch sessions and races live on MotoGP's VideoPass over-the-top (OTT) platform
- Updated raceday hub also offers live timing and other Grand Prix plugins
- Fans can personalise their experience by selecting their favourite drivers and/or teams to receive tailored content
Context: MotoGP is undergoing a significant shift in brand positioning as it attempts to claw back ground on Formula One. A survey last year found that MotoGP fans believed the series needed to do more to attract new fans and a sleeker, more user-friendly interface is a small step towards improving the fan experience.
