- Turnover rises to UK£633.4m (US$848.5m)
- Revenue boosted by new partners like Adidas and Nasdaq
The Mercedes Formula One team recorded a profit of UK£125.9 million (US$168.7 million) in their recently released financial accounts for the year that ended 31st December 2025.
This beats last year’s record figure of UK£116.9 million (US$156.6 million), which has been adjusted down slightly from the UK£120.3 million (US$164 million) profit that was reported at the time. Mercedes’ profits have now risen in three consecutive seasons.
Turnover grew by UK£1.3 million (US$1.7 million) year-on-year (YoY) to UK£633.4 million (US$848.5 million).
According to Mercedes, this was due to a combination of ‘higher commercial revenues from sponsorship and licensing’ and a ‘close control of the cost base’.
In fact, the team’s cost of sales fell from UK£449.4 million (US$602.1 million) in 2024 to UK£423.5 million (US$567.4 million) in 2025.
Due to the dominance of McLaren last season, Mercedes’ television broadcast coverage fell from 15.5 per cent in 2024 to 13.2 per cent in 2025. This saw the team’s TV Advertising Value Equivalent (AVE) decrease two per cent year-on-year (YoY) to US$5.66 billion.
Mercedes were commercially reserved during the 2025 season, only agreeing new deals with Adidas and Nasdaq. Despite this, Mercedes’ financial success mirrors the soaring profits seen for Formula One itself and the teams across the grid.
The team has also made significant strides on its emissions. Overall energy consumption across Scopes 1 and 2 reduced by 606,288 kWh in 2025. This translates to the total gross emissions per average number employees falling 20.2 per cent YoY.
