McLaren F1 team pen Reiss deal

Multi-year deal sees British brand become team's official travelwear partner.

The McLaren Formula One team have named British fashion brand Reiss as their official travelwear partner for 2023 and beyond.

Context: McLaren Racing already have both a sportswear deal with Castore and a headwear deal with New Era that cover all race operations across Formula One, IndyCar, Formula E and Extreme E. In addition, the Formula One team have a contract with footwear brand K-Swiss for the 2023 season and an eyewear supplier contract with Sun God.

Comment: Lindsey Eckhouse, director for licensing and digital products at McLaren Racing, said: “Reiss is a premium brand which understands the need for smart yet convenient apparel, especially for a team that travels throughout a global 23-race season. Our team can look forward to travelling in comfort and style from this season onwards.”

Christos Angelides, chief executive of Reiss, added: “Reiss shares many of the same values as McLaren, with a focus on elite product craftsmanship. We will be proud to see the McLaren Formula One team dressed in Reiss as they travel to and from each race.”

Coming next: The new partnership between McLaren and Reiss will be visible before this weekend's Miami Grand Prix from 5th to 7th May, although the team has been supplied with Reiss kit since the start of the 2023 season.
