Lusail International Circuit in Qatar has signed a ticketing partnership with cloud-based events platform Secutix.
- Secutix to gradually bring all ticketing under cloud-based platform
- Company’s 3D-mapping technology to give fans immersive map when purchasing tickets
- ‘Tixngo’ solution will deliver tickets in the first instance and then other digital assets in future
This deal follows a similar deal that Secutix agreed with Silverstone last year, with the cloud-based events platform signing a five-year contract.
Amro Al-Hamad, chief executive of Lusail International Circuit, said: “We appointed Secutix because we wanted a technology partner with significant experience in managing tickets for sports events. Working together, we will develop a strong digital platform to provide seamless services to our customers and enhance our fan experience.”
The first event using the ticketing solution will be Formula One’s Qatar Grand Prix in October, followed by MotoGP’s Grand Prix of Qatar in November.
