Lola Cars has renewed its technical partnership with Yamaha Motor for the all-electric Formula E series.
Confirmed:
- Lola and Yamaha to continue collaborating on developing powertrain for 2026/27 season
- Pair join Nissan, Jaguar, Porsche and Maserati as confirmed manufacturers for Formula E’s Gen4 era
Context:
Lola and Yamaha entered Formula E together at the start of this season, partnering with Abt. Ahead of its first race, Lola committed to Formula E until at least the 2030 season, signalling its confidence in the competition.
With the extension of their partnership, the two companies have promised to make significant advancements in energy efficiency, race performance and safety.
