Gainbridge inks multi-year extension as Indy 500 presenting sponsor

Insurance tech company to enter eighth year as title partner of IndyCar's most famous race.

IndyCar and Gainbridge have agreed to a multi-year extension, ensuring the insurance technology company remains the presenting sponsor of the Indianapolis 500.

Gainbridge began it sponsorship of the Indy 500 in 2019. The firm is a subsidiary of Group 1001, which is owned by TWG Global – a backer of the the Cadillac Formula One team. 

Away from motorsport, Gainbridge has placed a strong emphasis on sponsoring women’s sports properties, including soccer’s USL Super League and tennis’ Billie Jean King Cup, as well as partnering with Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) star Caitlin Clark.

“Partnering with the Indianapolis 500 is a natural fit for Gainbridge, reflecting our shared commitment to success, innovation and making every second count,” said Group 1001 president and chief executive Dan Towriss.

“The Indianapolis 500 holds special significance to Hoosiers and fans across the world. We’re excited for this next chapter in our partnership and honoured to celebrate the skilled drivers and the dedicated fans.”
