Electric single seater series Formula E has announced a new broadcast partnership with Indonesian free-to-air (FTA) broadcaster TVRI.

As part of the deal, TVRI will show all races in the ongoing 2020/21 championship. In a bid to grow Formula E’s popularity in Indonesia, all races, as well as highlights content, will be available for fans to watch on TVRI's broadcast and digital platforms with commentary in Bahasa.

"We are excited to have TVRI joining our line-up of media partners," said Aarti Dabas, chief media officer of Formula E.

"Indonesia is an important market for us and a key territory where we want to grow our audience reach and engagement.

"To have TVRI’s expansive reach across linear and digital channels, covering all our races with localised presenting and commentary, will offer Indonesians across all parts of the country easy access to our live races and highlights."

The 2021 Formula E season continues on 24th April in Valencia, Spain.
