- Series claims Hyderabad ePrix will be first net zero event staged at this scale
Context: Greenko is headquartered in Hyderabad and secures title sponsorship of the first all-electric series race in India.
Comment: Anil Chalamalasetty, founder of Greenko Group, said: “We are committed to combating climate change and lead the way for global decarbonisation. Greenko will be powering the entire 2023 Greenko Hyderabad ePrix event with renewable energy, making it first of its kind net zero event in the world on this scale.”
Consequence: Being described as the first net zero event at this scale highlights the size of the task being undertaken by Greenko.
