Formula One has signed an live streaming rights deal with Coupang Play in South Korea.

Contract:

  • Coupang Play to stream every race
  • Formula One agrees multi-year deal 

Context: Formula One was previously broadcast in South Korea by the SBS Sport pay-TV network.

Comments: Michaella Snoeck, head of media rights at Formula One, added: “We’re pleased to be entering this new partnership with Coupang Play to ensure that our fans in South Korea can follow all the F1 action. South Korea is a key market for Formula One and this deal will help us to continue to grow the sport’s popularity in the region.”

Coming next: The first race of the Formula One season is just over a week away, with the Bahrain Grand Prix kicking off 2023 on 5th March.
