F1 and Liqui Moly renew partnership

Oil company to enter fifth consecutive season with series.

Formula One and Liqui Moly have renewed their partnership for the 2023 season.

Contract:

  • Liqui Moly enters its fifth consecutive season with Formula One
  • Physical trackside branding at three races
  • Virtual branding at a further 15 races

Context: This represents the second extension that Liqui Moly has signed with Formula One, having initially partnered with the series on a one-year deal in 2019. This was extended in 2020 for three years, with the oil and additive manufacturer receiving branding at 11 races.

Comment: Brandon Snow, managing director of commercial at Formula One, said: “Using digital advertising opportunities demonstrates both long-standing brands' will to innovate, as we bring fans closer to the greatest racing spectacle on the planet on more race weekends than ever before.”

Coming next: Formula One returns for its second race of the season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on 19th March.
