F1 creates head of original content role, hires Isabelle Stewart

Stewart to be responsible for creating partnerships with content creators to give motorsport series added exposure.

Formula One has created the role of head of original content and hired Isabelle Stewart to the position.

Arriving from Amazon-owned Audible, where she was director of content development and acquisition, Stewart will be responsible for developing partnerships with content creators to give Formula One more opportunities, exposure and revenue in media.

It is unclear at this stage whether Stewart will focus more on traditional and independent movie studios, or new-age content creators on social media platforms.

Stewart also has previous experience in the film industry, having worked for the likes of Protagonist Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Pictures and StudioCanal between 2006 and 2020.

Formula One currently has numerous media projects in development, such as the Apple Studios film co-produced by Lewis Hamilton and the Disney+ docuseries following the 2009 title-winning season of Brawn GP.
