F1 announces Hard Rock as presenting partner of Las Vegas GP

Inaugural race will take place on 18th November.

Formula One has unveiled Hard Rock as a presenting partner of the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Confirmed:

  • Hard Rock is slated for construction on the current site of The Mirage Hotel & Casino
  • Entertainment chain to have Strip-adjacent grandstand structure for 3,000 fans
  • Fans who donate US$7.77 to the Las Vegas Grand Prix Foundation will be given the opportunity to purchase tickets beginning 22nd March
  • Hard Rock to also work with Formula One to launch an educational programme with a focus on global hospitality

Context: Hard Rock already has a large presence at the Miami Grand Prix, with the race taking place around the Hard Rock Stadium, so this move to presenting partner ensures visibility across Formula One's two new American frontiers.

Comment: Emily Prazer, chief commercial officer of Las Vegas Grand Prix, said: “Like Formula One, the Hard Rock brand is globally recognised with fans visiting from around the world. Our event’s high intensity and energy are a great match for the excitement associated with the Hard Rock, and we look forward to providing fans with another opportunity to watch the race from an exciting vantage point on the Las Vegas Strip.”

Coming next: Formula One will visit the US for the first time in 2023 on 7th May for the Miami Grand Prix, followed by trips to Austin on 22nd October and Las Vegas on 18th November.
