The Ferrari Formula One team have agreed a two-year partnership extension with merchant bank Z Capital Group (ZCG).

Contract:

  • ZCG will continue as a team partner of Ferrari through the 2026 season
  • Bank will look to engage Ferrari’s fanbase in ‘new and creative ways’

Context:

This is the second extension ZCG has signed with Ferrari, having inked a one-year extension after debuting with the Italian team during the 2023 Formula One season.

The latest renewal will continue the firm’s goal of finding new methods to engage Formula One fans around the world, with Ferrari’s capture of seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton noted in the release as a signifier of the team’s ‘pursuit of excellence’.

ZCG also pointed out Formula One’s record race attendance and the second-highest TV viewership in the US last season as reasons for resigning with Ferrari, noting that it continues to see opportunities for growth in the series.

Comment:

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with ZCG, whose commitment to innovation and excellence aligns perfectly with our values at Scuderia Ferrari HP,” said Lorenzo Giorgetti, chief racing revenue officer of Ferrari.

“We greatly value the strong relationship we have built together. As we celebrate this milestone year, we look forward to continuing this successful collaboration into 2025 and beyond.”

Coming next:
