E1, the all-electric raceboat world championship, has signed a global sponsorship deal with Bombay Sapphire.
Confirmed:
- Bombay Sapphire becomes E1’s official gin partner and the official cocktail of the series
- Company’s gin will be served to guests at the Ocean Club, E1’s exclusive VIP invite-only hospitality offering
- Includes official partner status covering Team Brady and Team Drogba

Context:
Bombay Sapphire joins a sponsorship portfolio that includes Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), which owns the series, and Boss.
E1 counts sporting greats like Tom Brady, LeBron James, and Rafael Nadal among its team owners, but hasn’t yet seen this translate into an expansive portfolio of partners.
The championship recently finalised its 2025 schedule with the addition of Lake Maggiore in Italy.

With celebrity star power, highly competitive racing, and a purpose to accelerate change, we’re the sport of tomorrow that innovative brands are backing today.
“In E1, Bombay Sapphire has found a natural home. It is a partnership that is built on a passion for blue sustainability and we’re energised to deliver impactful change together as we redefine racing on water.”
