Aston Martin F1 extend Cognizant deal

Multi-year renewal sees Cognizant become the team's global technology services partner.

The Aston Martin Formula One team have extended and expanded their partnership with US-based multinational business technology firm Cognizant.

  • Multi-year agreement sees Cognizant become Aston Martin’s global technology services partner
  • Pair will work together to optimise operational efficiency across the new AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone, England
  • Latest partnership involves continued focus on sustainability, community and inclusion initiatives, including a drive toward zero-emission commitments through energy-efficient technologies

Cognizant first came on board as Aston Martin’s title sponsor in 2021 before the team, which rebranded from Racing Point, handed Saudi Arabian state-owned oil firm Aramco co-title rights the following year.

“It is a pleasure to work with such an ambitious and like-minded partner, so today’s announcement that they have chosen to extend their relationship with us speaks volumes for the harmony we enjoy together,” said Lawrence Stroll, Aston Martin Formula One Team’s executive chairman.

“What we’re seeing from working with Cognizant, is that they can really leverage their expertise in data, analytics and machine-learning to make a marked difference to our efforts as a design team to build a faster racing car and become a leaner, more efficient organisation.”
