ASA announces multi-tiered broadcast and streaming package

MAVTV, Racing America and Speedsport.tv all secure broadcast rights.

American Speed Association (ASA)-sanctioned events will be broadcast across a combination of MAVTV, Racing America and Speedsport.tv.

Contract:

  • MAVTV to broadcast ten-race ASA Stars National Tour season on a tape-delayed basis
  • All ten ASA Stars National Tour races, ASA / Champion Racing Association (CRA) Super Series, ASA Midwest Tour races and ASA Southern Super Series events to be live-streamed on a combination of Racing America, Speedsport.tv and FloRacing.

Context: The multi-platform distribution package is unique, due the unification of the three regional tours – each of which already have contractual obligations.

Comment: Bob Sargent, president of Track Enterprises, which owns and operates the ASA Stars National Tour, said: “We’ve aligned with three great media partners to allow fans of pavement super late model racing unprecedented opportunities to watch the sport.”

Coming next: The ASA Stars National Tour will open the ten-race, six-state schedule in Pensacola, Florida, on 11th March.  The Sunshine State 200 will be live-streamed on both Racing America and Speedsport.tv. MAVTV will air the event on 20th March.
