Arrow McLaren and Lucas Oil sign extension

New multi-year contract sees brand continue as IndyCar team's official partner.

The Arrow McLaren IndyCar team have signed a multi-year extension with long-time partner Lucas Oil.

Contract:

  • Company branding will continue on all three cars
  • Extends a partnership that began almost 20 years ago

Context: A partnership which began when Arrow McLaren was known as Sam Schmidt Motorsports in 2004 will continue into at least its 20th year.

Comment: Matt Dennington, executive director for partnerships and accelerator at McLaren Racing, said: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Lucas Oil, a long-standing partner that has been with the team for nearly two decades. Through growth and changes, their support has been integral for our team.”
