- New backpack design to reflect pandemic travel challenges
- Brand using feedback from 2020 partnership for development
Formula One team Alfa Romeo have announced that it will continue their partnership with fitness bag company Built for Athletes for the 2021 season.
As part of the deal extension, Built for Athletes will provide backpacks for the Alfa Romeo team, including drivers Kimi Raikkonen, Antonio Giovinazzi and Robert Kubica.
The company has designed a new 2021 backpack, the Hero 2.0, using feedback from last year’s partnership and adapted for travel during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"The Hero backpack proved a very popular accessory with everyone in the team: practical, with lots of capacity and suited to our demanding travel schedules," said Frederic Vasseur, Alfa Romeo team principal.
"The Hero 2.0 version is the direct result of the feedback of the team: Built for Athletes delivered another great product that will serve us well from the start of the season until the very end."
The 2021 Formula One season continues on 18th April at Imola, Italy.
