  • Nascar maintains deals with more than 50 official partners. Ahead of the new season, premier partner Xfinity extended its long-running deal with the series and expanded it to include other Comcast-owned brands Xfinity Mobile and Xumo.
  • The series’ new domestic broadcast rights contract is worth a record US$7.7 billion until 2031, with five different broadcasters securing rights to the Cup Series and second-tier Xfinity Series.
  • According to GlobalData, Nascar was estimated to bring in US$362.34 million across its 2024 portfolio of sponsors, a drop of nearly 16% compared to last year’s figure of US$425.06 million.
  • In 2023, Team Penske generated the most estimated sponsorship revenue at US$140.94 million, but this fell dramatically last year to US$86.63 million. 2024 saw Joe Gibbs Racing become the most commercially successful team (US$116.0 million).
  • Domestic viewership has levelled out in recent years for Nascar, with the most recent season averaging 2.87 million viewers across Fox and NBC.
