US Cellular extends Iowa Speedway sponsorship

Telecommunications service provider US Cellular has extended its title sponsorship of the Nascar Xfinity Series race at the Iowa Speedway until 2019.

The next three editions of the race will continue to be known as the US Cellular 250. The 2018 race will mark a decade since the initial title sponsorship agreement, while US Cellular has been the circuit's official wireless partner since 2006.

The company has also confirmed that it will sponsor Brendan Gaughan's number 62 Chevrolet at the race, after inking a new deal with the driver's team, Richard Childress Racing. US Cellular will also partner with Gaughan for the American Ethanol E15 250 on the same circuit on 24th June.

"We are excited to extend our title sponsorship," said Mike Adams, US Cellular's director of sales for Iowa and Nebraska. "At US Cellular, we strive to build a connection with our communities that extends beyond our business by supporting community events that enhance the neighbourhoods where we live and work.

"We look forward to another exciting season of Iowa Speedway events."
