The Formula One global motorsport series has agreed a host of broadcast deals in China, according to Chinese news site Jiemian.com.
Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, Shanghai-based TV broadcaster Great Sports and online streaming platform Tencent Sports will share rights to the 2018 season.
CCTV will cover the full Formula One season, with races to be broadcast on CCTV5 and CCTV5 Plus.
Jiemian.com’s report added that Great Sports would also continue to provide full coverage of the motorsport series season, despite earlier speculation that it would end its agreement. The broadcaster has shown Formula One in China since 2002.
The 2018 Formula One season gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on 25th March. China will stage its annual race weekend in Shanghai from 13th to 15th April.
