Eleven Sports has signed a two-year extension of its agreement to televise Formula One in Poland.
The global broadcaster will continue to show live and exclusive action from the world’s elite motorsport series throughout the 2018 and 2019 seasons. The deal will offer complete coverage, including Friday and Saturday practice, qualifying sessions and Sunday races.
The network is currently in the middle of its second year broadcasting Formula One in the European country, having first acquired the rights in time for the beginning of the 2016 season.
“Formula One is a fantastic sporting spectacle full of tension and excitement and we are very proud of the work we have done to bring the thrilling action to fans across Poland through our localised strategy,” said Danny Menken, group managing director of Eleven Sports.
“The Polish people love Formula One and we are delighted to have the opportunity to keep raising the bar. With the unrelenting action combined with our high-quality production and delivery, we are excited to continue this journey with the fans.”
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel currently leads the 2017 Formula One drivers’ championship, and the series continues this weekend with the Austrian Grand Prix in Spielberg.
