Formula E team Dragon Racing have extended their partnership with InstaForex for a further year.
The renewal will see InstaForex’s branding feature on the rear wing of Dragon Racing's cars for a fourth consecutive season, while it will also appear on the all-electric racing team’s driver’s helmets. The financial terms of the agreement have not been made public.
The international broker, which is based in Russia, has been an official partner of Dragon Racing since 2015, when the company’s logo was placed on the team’s car during the first ePrix in Moscow.
Jay Penske, the principal and owner of Dragon Racing, said: “Dragon Racing is delighted to welcome Instaforex back for a 4th consecutive season. Their continued support and shared values make for a great partnership that I am sure will continue for many years to come.”
Pavel Shkapenko, development director at InstaForex, added: “The extension of the official sponsorship contract implies not only image-building, which includes branding cars and the drivers helmets with the broker's logo. InstaForex shares the desire of Formula E and Dragon Racing to develop and promote new technologies while taking care of the environment.”
Dragon Racing, who are represented by Belgian driver Jérôme d’Ambrosio and Switzerland’s Neel Jani, are bottom of Formula E’s 2017/18 team table having picked up no points from the opening race weekend in Hong Kong.
